DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance

DevOps Engineer Location: On-site - Washington, DC (supporting federal agency systems) Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a federal client in securing and operating modern cloud-based application environments. This role focuses on securing containerized platforms, orchestration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructure that support mission-critical government systems. You will work across development, operations, and security teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the DevOps lifecycle while maintaining compliance with federal standards. What You'll Do As a DevOps Engineer, you will: Design, implement, and manage security practices across containerized application environments Support the secure operation of Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration platforms Secure CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, reliable, and compliant software delivery Implement and maintain container security controls and monitoring solutions Support AWS cloud security configurations and best practices Use Bash scripting to automate DevOps and security-related tasks Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maintain high security standards Support DevOps operations in a regulated federal environment Schedule & Work Model Full-time (40 hours/week) On-site support required in Washington, DC Requirements U.S. Citizenship required (U.S. citizens or dual citizens only) Public Trust clearance required or higher 6 years of experience with Docker container technologies 6 years of experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms 6 years of experience with container security concepts and tools 6 years of experience with Bash scripting 6 years of experience supporting AWS security services or cloud security practices Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows Experience supporting government or regulated environments is a plus Why Join Blue Rose?
