Department: Servicing - GSE Asset Management We are Walker & Dunlop. Department Overview Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans.  Our Servicing experts are the borrower’s primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff.  The Department consists of six main functional areas: Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance. W&D’s Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch’s highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-. The Impact You Will Have This is an entry level position on the Transactions Team and an excellent opportunity for advancement within the GSE Asset Management Department. Primary Responsibilities Communicate directly with borrowers and legal counsel to gather documentation, clarify request details, and facilitate the consent review process Assist with the preparation of consents packages for submission Create reports and dashboards related to consent activity, borrower submissions, and processing timelines Update portfolio databases (Salesforce, Rockport, Enterprise, Agency Systems, etc.) Organize and maintain Asset Management electronic records (contact database, consent files, reports) Maintain accurate digital records of consent submissions, approvals, and required supporting documentation Communicate with clients to determine appropriate loan arrangements as needed Perform other duties as assigned Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience strongly preferred Previous experience in the real estate industry is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Excel, and experience with database software Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to evaluate data quickly and present information in a coherent manner Strong written and verbal communication skills Legal document, title, and survey knowledge is a plus Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders Ability to travel and operate a motor vehicle This position has an estimated base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 plus discretionary bonus.
