About the Opportunity: The Software Engineer, Cash App Banking will design, develop, and deliver banking features that enhance how customers manage their money. This role involves close teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration to build scalable and impactful banking experiences. The position contributes to reshaping consumer banking by creating reliable, efficient, and user-focused financial services. 3. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing features • Engage in technical discussions and review design documents and code changes • Develop systems aligned with microservice and event-driven architectures • Maintain high engineering standards individually and within the team • Utilize AI-driven tools to improve development speed and quality, experimenting with new methods 4. Requirements: • 5+ years of software development or equivalent experience • Ability to identify and resolve system flaws in complex environments • Growth mindset with a willingness to tackle ambiguous problems • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Bachelor''s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Zone A: $180,000 to $270,000 USD • Zone B: $171,000 to $256,600 USD • Zone C: $162,000 to $243,000 USD • Zone D: $153,000 to $229,600 USD The starting pay will be determined by skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
