Description

About Us Lumina Markets prepares to launch a new prediction market platform. Prediction markets turn the outcomes of real-world events into tradable contracts. Each market poses a binary question: Will X event happen? Yes-contracts pay out if yes; No-contracts if no. Prices reflect crowd-sourced probabilities. Backed by a billionaire pioneer of electronic trading, Lumina is approaching this opportunity with a long-term mindset and institutional standards. Our mission is to make prediction markets mainstream. What others view as niche speculation, we see as a trillion-dollar opportunity to redefine everyday investments. Role We’re hiring a Product Manager to own and drive Lumina’s web and mobile product experience. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who combines strong product judgment with speed, rigor, and execution. You will work across product strategy, roadmap prioritization, feature definition, user experience, and cross-functional delivery. You should be comfortable operating with limited structure, making decisions with imperfect information, and pushing products from concept to launch. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly autonomous, and relentless about product quality. You should be equally comfortable thinking strategically, getting into details, and working side-by-side with design, engineering, operations, and leadership to build an exceptional user experience. Responsibilities Own product development across Lumina’s web and mobile applications. Translate company goals, user needs, and market opportunities into clear product priorities and roadmaps. Write product requirements, define feature scope, and drive execution from concept through launch. Partner closely with engineering and design to build intuitive, elegant, and high-performance user experiences. Make product decisions grounded in user behavior, analytics, qualitative feedback, and sound judgment. Identify friction points, gaps, and opportunities across the user journey, and drive continuous improvement. Coordinate cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, compliance, and leadership to ensure timely, high-quality execution. Help define product processes, standards, and operating rhythms as the company grows. Maintain a high bar for clarity, polish, speed, and user trust across all product surfaces. Candidate Profile 2–8 years of experience in product management, ideally B2C. Strong product instincts and a track record of shipping high-quality digital products. Entrepreneurial and self-directed; you operate well with minimal supervision and high accountability. Structured thinker with the ability to simplify ambiguity and make sound decisions quickly. Strong attention to detail and high standards for user experience and product quality. Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without bureaucracy. Analytical and pragmatic, with the ability to use data without becoming overly rigid. What We Offer Join Lumina at the ground floor of a new financial category with global potential. You’ll help shape the core product experience and define how prediction markets are built, understood, and adopted. With institutional backing and startup agility, we offer stability plus the freedom to innovate boldly. True ownership awaits: leave your mark on something with global scale. We offer competitive compensation (targeting ~$150-250k base salary, depending on experience), health insurance, cash bonus, and equity. This is an in-person position in NYC.
