President Chief Executive Officer

The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) is seeking a new President and CEO to lead the organization following the retirement of its current CEO in December 2026. The ideal candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader responsible for developing and implementing NNPHI's strategy, ensuring financial sustainability, and increasing the organization's national visibility and influence. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors to guide NNPHI and its members through a changing public health landscape, advocating for the value of public health institutes and positioning NNPHI for long-term success. With oversight of over 50 staff in offices in New Orleans and Washington, D.C., the CEO will play a key role in strengthening the network and maximizing its impact.The incoming CEO will serve as the face and voice of NNPHI, representing the organization in various settings and advocating for public health initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly respected national network during a critical time for public health in the United States. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration, as well as a deep commitment to advancing public health.
