About the teams This role will manage two closely related teams: Hardhat and EDR, which together power the core of our Ethereum developer tooling stack. The Hardhat team builds our established and market-leading products. These are user-facing infrastructure that developers use to write, test, compile, and deploy their Solidity contracts for Ethereum networks. The Hardhat suite of products is widely used in the ecosystem, and supports developers end to end, from early experimentation to production systems with billions in on-chain capital at stake. The EDR (Ethereum Development Runtime) team builds a high-performance runtime in Rust for developer tooling. EDR currently powers Hardhat’s local network simulation for development and testing and is designed to be reused by other tools, supporting more consistent and maintainable execution across the Ethereum developer ecosystem. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based in Central Europe through the Americas Eastern Time zone.
