We need you to help us develop container management sof tware to solve some of our clients' toughest challenges. As a platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you'll strengthen your skills using the latest technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment with current container sof tware to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform knowledge , you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You'll work with your team to recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. You Have 3+ years of experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms with tools including Docker or Kubernetes 2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm, and with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Experience working with application develop ment teams across the sof tware develop ment lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment Experience hosting applications on commer cia l cloud providers or on-premises Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions Secret clearance Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience Experience administering Linux systems Experience automating CI / CD pipelines with tools including Jenkins or GitLab Experience hosting applications on commer cia l cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
