About SKYON SKYON is a phygital luxury fashion house redefining product ownership at the intersection of craftsmanship and Web3. Through three forthcoming collections Tennis Club, Chic, and Futuriste SKYON pairs physical pieces of exceptional quality with blockchain-verified ownership, while extending each item into SKYLINE WORLD, a proprietary Unity 3D metaverse, where they exist as avatar wearables. Powered by SKYCHAIN, an in-house blockchain infrastructure, SKYON is building a fully integrated luxury ecosystem for a new generation of collectors. SKYON is currently in its foundational phase and actively raising its seed round to fuel its first collections, technology build-out, and global launch. The Role SKYON is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the founding team and lead the financial strategy of the company from day one. This is a founding role, based in New York, working directly alongside the CEO to shape SKYON’s financial foundations, capital structure, and trajectory through its first funding rounds and beyond. As SKYON is currently raising its seed round, the CFO will play a central role in helping close the round, structuring investor relations, and setting up the financial architecture of the company from the ground up. Key Responsibilities • Support the closing of SKYON’s seed round, including investor due diligence, financial materials, and negotiation support • Build and own the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and multi-year forecasting • Set up financial reporting, investor communications, and future board-level reporting • Help structure and execute upcoming funding rounds (Series A and beyond) • Build financial models across the three collections, the $SKY token, and metaverse revenue streams • Set up compliance and governance frameworks (US GAAP, future SEC requirements, MiCA for EU token exposure) • Partner closely with the CEO and founding team on overall economic and business strategy • Lay the foundations of the finance function as the company grows Qualifications • 8–10+ years of progressive finance experience, including a proven track record as CFO, VP Finance, or Head of Finance in a startup environment • Demonstrated experience supporting fundraising efforts (seed through Series B at minimum), with strong command of SAFEs, term sheets, and cap table management • Deep expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, and investor reporting • Background in luxury, fashion, Web3, or DTC is a plus • Working knowledge of digital assets, tokenomics, and relevant regulatory frameworks (SEC, MiCA) is a meaningful plus • Familiarity with US GAAP and Delaware C-Corp structures • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building from zero and operating amid ambiguity • Outstanding communication skills in English (French is a plus) • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
