You will develop and improve NLU models, build solutions using structured and tabular data, implement new pipelines, and evaluate emerging techniques and approaches.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to work across the full machine learning lifecycle, gain hands-on experience with production AI systems, apply research to real business problems, and help bring new ideas and techniques into production.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build, evaluate and improve machine learning models and pipelines.</li> <li>Prepare, generate, curate and validate datasets from SQL and other data sources.</li> <li>Design and run experiments to improve model performance and measure outcomes.</li> <li>Develop machine learning solutions using both text and structured data.</li> <li>Investigate new research, techniques and tools and apply them to practical business problems.</li> <li>Work with stakeholders to understand problems, deliver data-driven solutions and communicate findings.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.</li> <li>Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation and experimental design.</li> <li>Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills.</li> <li>Understanding of data preparation, feature engineering and data quality.</li> <li>Ability to reason about machine learning model performance and identify the factors that affect outcomes.</li> <li>Good understanding of AI assistant tools, including their strengths, limitations and appropriate use.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Eagerness to learn and develop as a data scientist.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.</li> <li>Experience with NLP, NLU or text classification.</li> <li>Experience developing machine learning models using structured and tabular data.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud platforms, MLOps concepts or model deployment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Safe and Responsible AI</strong></p> <p>Safe and responsible AI is a core value of our team.
