Description

• Production Management: • Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. • Monitor production lines and adjust schedules and workflows to meet production targets. • Ensure that production processes are operating within established quality and safety standards. • Ensure meeting daily KPI. • Responsible for the overall shop floor according to area/section assigned. • Ensure all assigned production employees undergo required training and perform their job accordingly. • Ensure to report daily achievement and issue to management • Responsible for shop floor stock accuracy. • Process Optimization: • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs. • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality. • Quality Assurance: • Monitor and maintain product quality through regular inspections and testing. • Investigate and resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards. • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process deviations. • Collaborate with process and equipment teams to address complex problems and implement solutions. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues. • Safety and Compliance: • Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. • Develop and enforce safety procedures and training programs for production staff. • Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including process changes, equipment checklist, and quality control. • Prepare and present reports on production performance, issues, and improvement initiatives. • Document and communicate best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Team Collaboration and Training: • Work closely with production staff, engineers, and other departments to achieve production goals. • Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures. • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in production engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field. • 1-3 years’ Proven experience in production engineering or a similar role within a high tech. manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control practices. • Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement methodologies, and production management. • Familiarity with manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MES, SPC). • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: • Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project management. • Experience in Solar cell manufacturing is a plus. • Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the production sector. • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus. • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends. • Willingness to continuously learn and update skills. Working Conditions: • Standard office environment with frequent visits to the manufacturing floor. • May require occasional travel to other facilities or vendor locations. • May involve working with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
