Position Overview The Manufacturing (Production) Manager leads all manufacturing operations at the Cooler Master facility, focusing on scaling output and implementing robust operational systems. This role demands a strategic leader capable of translating complex business objectives into actionable floor-level workflows. Due to the critical need for daily coordination with our overseas headquarters, full professional bilingual fluency in both English and Chinese is mandatory for this position. Key responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end production cycle, managing capital resource allocation, and ensuring the facility meets aggressive growth targets without compromising on quality or safety standards. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Daily Manufacturing Operations: Direct the daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met on time, within budget, and according to specific technical requirements. • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize plant performance by identifying bottlenecks, reducing cycle times, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma). • Team & Staff Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of production staff, ensuring a cross-trained and high-performing team. • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a "safety-first" culture by ensuring total compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and internal corporate safety protocols. • Preventative Maintenance: Oversee the preventative maintenance schedules for all factory machinery and tools to maximize uptime and extend asset life. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales departments to ensure successful product launches and the rapid resolution of production-floor technical challenges. • Quality & SOP Enforcement: Enforce total compliance with established quality control protocols and SOPs, ensuring all factory output meets or exceeds internal and external specifications. • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), labor efficiency, and throughput for executive review. • Supply Chain Synchronization: Synchronize with procurement and warehouse teams to align raw material availability with production schedules, ensuring zero downtime while maintaining lean inventory levels. • Change Management: Act as the lead for organizational or process changes, ensuring smooth transitions when introducing new machinery, shifts, or production methodologies. • Special Projects: Perform special projects and urgent operational tasks assigned by leadership to address emerging business challenges and opportunities. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical), Operations Management, or a related technical field. • Language: Bilingual fluency in verbal and written English and Chinese is required (mandatory). Must be fully capable of conducting real-time technical syncs, interpreting overseas manufacturing specifications, and leading strategic alignment calls directly with our Asia-based team in Chinese. • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a dedicated supervisory or management role. • Language Requirement: Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal). • Continuous Improvement: Proven track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM) principles to drive operational improvements. • SAP & ERP Systems: Strong working knowledge of SAP (specifically modules related to production planning, inventory, and shop floor control); direct experience using SAP to drive data-based decision-making is highly preferred. • Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and environmental compliance standards. • NPI & Project Management: Experience leading New Product Introductions (NPI) and facility-wide projects, ensuring timelines and budget constraints are strictly met. • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions for complex technical and operational issues. • Crisis & Change Leadership: Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations, including emergency response planning and leading teams through organizational or process transitions. • Technical Literacy: A strong "hands-on" understanding of industrial machinery and automation, allowing for effective communication with maintenance and engineering teams. Location: 3623 W Grand Pkwy N, Suite 100, Katy, TX 77449 Benefits • Starting with 15 paid vacation days in the first year • 11 paid corporate holidays + 5 floating holidays • 5 paid sick leave days per year • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans • FSA & HSA plans available • Advanced health plan options with employer-subsidized out-of-pocket premiums • Company-sponsored Short-Term Disability (STD) insurance • Company-sponsored Life Insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with company match Disclaimer Our goal is to be an industry leader while providing an exceptional workplace.
