Description
Studio Upwall Architects, established in 2004, is a Washington DC-based architectural practice that offers integrated architectural services from conceptual design through construction. We are looking to assemble a team of like-minded individuals who share in our values of promoting sustainable design, urban revitalization, and community-centered design.
We are a small open studio-based practice, specializing in both new construction and retrofits to existing buildings, for residential, mixed-use, and small commercial projects. Some of our current projects include several new urban infill mixed-use projects, and custom residential projects.
Studio Upwall Architects is currently seeking an Architectural Designer/Project Manager with 1 to 3 years of professional experience who is based in the DC area. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Degree in Architecture, Master’s degree desirable;
-Ability to work on all phases of a project from preliminary design through construction administration.
-Strong graphic skills / experience in producing renderings;
-Experience developing construction documents utilizing BIM software
-Vectorworks or ArchiCAD experience is a plus;
-A self-starter who is able to manage small projects independently, and collaborate with other staff on larger projects;
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
