Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Director of Operations Collision & Mechanical Repair Facility Matsenko Auto is seeking a high-level operations leader to fully manage and grow our collision and mechanical repair business. This is not a front desk or estimator position. We are looking for a true operator — someone who can take ownership of the business, lead the team, improve systems, drive profitability, and ensure the entire operation runs efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing all departments, holding employees accountable, improving workflow and production, increasing profitability, and helping scale the company long-term. Responsibilities • Fully oversee daily operations of the business • Manage collision and mechanical departments • Lead and supervise front desk staff, estimators, service advisors, technicians, painters, and mechanics • Ensure production goals and revenue targets are achieved • Improve workflow, efficiency, cycle time, and shop organization • Monitor profitability, labor efficiency, supplements, sales performance, and payroll efficiency • Hold staff accountable for performance and productivity • Implement systems, SOPs, structure, and operational improvements • Oversee customer service and overall customer experience • Manage insurance repair workflow and production scheduling • Analyze business performance and solve operational issues • Help hire, train, and develop staff • Work directly with ownership on company growth and expansion Requirements: • Strong automotive management experience required • Experience managing collision repair operations, mechanical operations, or both • Strong leadership and team management skills • Understanding of KPIs, profitability, production management, and accountability • Ability to build systems and improve operational efficiency • Experience with insurance claims and collision repair workflow preferred • Experience with CCC One or similar management systems preferred • Highly organized, driven, and results-oriented • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Must be capable of leading a fast-paced operation and delivering measurable results Compensation: • $60,000 – $150,000+ depending on experience and qualifications • Performance bonuses available • Profit-sharing opportunities available for the right candidate • Long-term growth opportunity within the company We are building a serious operation focused on quality, accountability, systems, profitability, and long-term growth.
