Description
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Lead AI/ML innovation for network planning solutions, developing and deploying production-ready demand forecasting and network optimization algorithms.
• Architect scalable AI/ML infrastructure to support automated forecasting and optimization capabilities.
• Drive scientific excellence by designing rigorous experiments, establishing evaluation metrics, and fostering a culture of peer review.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of applied scientists, guiding them from research to production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Operations to translate AI/ML capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Influence senior leadership by communicating complex scientific concepts and their business value with clarity.
What You'll Need
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions at internet scale.
• Master's degree in Computer Science (Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in distilling informal requirements into well-defined problems and navigating ambiguity.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, leading, and developing experienced scientists.
• Strong background in big data, machine learning, and predictive modeling, with experience deploying AI products at scale.
• Ability to build and manage complex, highly-scalable systems involving predictive models.
