Data Integration Engineer | Secret Cleared (JOB ID 002983)

Innovien is supporting a large-scale federal network operations and data analytics program, and we're hiring a Data Integration Engineer to help lead integration development on the platform. This is foundational work: building out data architecture, expanding pipeline capabilities, and delivering analytics that support mission-critical operations at scale. What You'll Do • Develop and implement Kafka and Elastic-based integration solutions, including custom connectors, APIs, and event streaming pipelines • Build and maintain Databricks pipelines using Delta Lake tables and medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture in support of analytics and data transformation initiatives • Integrate new data sources into a unified data and analytics environment, ensuring continuity and stability across the existing stack • Automate the full software lifecycle from design and development through testing and production deployment • Collaborate with the data integration team and engage directly with customers to address technical considerations and propose solutions aligned to mission needs What You Bring • 5+ years of hands-on data integration experience developing and implementing Kafka integrations with ELK/Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), including RESTful APIs, connectors, and event streaming pipelines • 3+ years of Databricks experience building pipelines with Delta tables, data cleansing, and medallion architecture • Extensive Python and/or Java programming experience • Experience in Agile/SDLC environments supporting sprint cycles, testing, and deployment • Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance • CompTIA Security+ (required within 14 days of start) Nice to Have • Certified Confluent Developer and/or Certified Elastic Engineer certification • Kubernetes containerization or AWS GovCloud experience • Prior software development and deployment experience in a DoD environment • Proficiency with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence Details • Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance required • Hybrid schedule, up to 3 days onsite weekly — Scott AFB IL, Ft.
