About the Opportunity: The *enior Software Engineer role focuses on developing AI/ML-powered features within a cloud-based data platform. This position bridges advanced database technology with AI capabilities, delivering integrated solutions that improve user interaction and data value extraction. The role contributes to enhancing the platform’s AI integration from backend inference services through to user interfaces, supporting the organization’s technological advancement and customer experience. 3. Responsibilities: • Design and implement AI-powered features across backend and frontend components of the cloud platform. • Develop scalable APIs linking database technology with AI/ML inference systems and external/internal AI services. • Build responsive user interfaces that simplify complex AI functionalities for diverse users. • Implement and maintain integrations with AI/ML ecosystem frameworks and standards. • Integrate AI/ML models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation. 4. Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience in production environments. • Direct experience with AI/ML technologies. • Strong frontend development skills using TypeScript/JavaScript and React. • Backend development proficiency in TypeScript or Python, focusing on API design and service architecture. • Ability to independently drive features from concept to production. • Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams. Nice to have: • Experience with data-oriented interfaces and visualizations. • Experience deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI/ML deployment. • Knowledge of database systems and data processing pipelines; experience with the platform technology is a plus. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • The typical starting salary range in the United States is $141,000 to $195,000 USD. • In premium US markets, the range is $158,000 to $232,000 USD. • Actual compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, and performance. 6.
