About the Role
Join a leading cybersecurity team as a Security Engineer III, driving incident response and proactive security initiatives for enterprise clients. You'll play a pivotal role in analyzing threats, guiding clients through high-stakes incidents, and shaping security strategy. Responsibilities
- Lead incident response engagements: delegate tasks, analyze security artifacts, and maintain oversight to ensure seamless client outcomes.
- Apply structured investigative workflows, meticulously documenting evidence and indicators of compromise to enhance our internal knowledge base.
- Deliver and support both standard and customized proactive security services, aligning offerings with client operational objectives using data-driven insights.
- Collaborate in the design and rollout of innovative proactive service initiatives and new delivery models.
- Communicate complex technical findings clearly and calmly to diverse stakeholders during high-pressure live incidents.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on security engineering experience with a focus on incident response or consulting.
- Strong consulting expertise, including soft skills to manage customer expectations and maintain accountability throughout engagements.
- Crisis communication skills with the ability to remain composed and articulate during live security events.
- Proficiency in SIEM and EDR platforms, specifically Splunk and CrowdStrike, for threat hunting and incident analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., SANS GIAC, ISC2 CISSP, EC-Council).
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing and facilitating Tabletop Exercises (TTX) to enhance client incident readiness.
- Ability to deliver technical security training or workshops to audiences ranging from SOC analysts to executives.
- Advanced expertise in memory forensics, malware analysis, and APT lateral movement detection.
- Strategic advisory skills to translate threat intelligence into actionable security recommendations.
- Advanced DFIR-specific training (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, GCFE).
