CTO

• Must have: prior experience as a full stack software developer and a venture backed CTO or equivalent. Seeking hands on (actively coding) software engineer with leadership experience. • AI - Product (external): workflow/process automation, data extraction, data reconciliation & analysis, and rules based lending eligibility checks • AI - Internal: Deploys innovative software dev production acceleration and QC • Architecture - Experience developing and presenting modern fintech architecture to clients and investors • Security - bank level security, encryption, and audits (Soc II type 2 etc) • Must have: Fintech background - particularly lending and/or capital markets (crypto / blockchain not a focus) • Leadership - team, client, and investor facing leadership • Location: Ideally located in Boulder CO or Montreal Canada. Open to strong candidates in other locations. Company Background • Stage: We are a seed stage startup having raised a $4.6 M seed round (currently confidentially currently raising a much larger Series A) and the only fintech providing software to lenders in the agriculture vertical. • Product: We provide multi tenant loan origination, servicing, and capital markets software to agricultural lenders. • Traction: Within 1 year of MVP go live, company serves up to $6 B in loans on platform associated with clients including the sector's largest independent lender and largest cooperative. • Tech Team primarily based in Calgary and Montreal canada with CEO in Boulder CO. 5 senior engineers, 1 chief product officer, 1 UX, 1 QC • Tech: Fast API backend, Cockroach DB and Angular front-end • Culture: team represents ag community with a strong work ethic, grit, humbleness, humor, and a passion for helping farmers as our end-users.
