Description
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer GRC Automation to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $153,000 – $214,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead the integration of the GRC platform ensuring operational readiness
Build automated workflows for control testing and evidence collection
Design AI-assisted compliance workflows for efficiency
Develop integrations between the GRC platform and various systems
Manage multiple GRC automation initiatives simultaneously
Design dashboards to track audit performance and control health
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into operations
Own the roadmap for scalable internal assurance infrastructure
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, solutions engineering, or GRC automation
Proven experience with GRC, compliance, or audit teams for automation
Experience implementing and integrating GRC platforms like Drata or Vanta
Strong scripting and integration skills (Python, JavaScript, APIs)
Ability to translate compliance policies into scalable technical systems
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Project management skills to handle compliance projects end-to-end
Experience building AI-assisted workflows for compliance automation
