Description
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
Research, evaluate, and implement security solutions based on best practices
Ensure technical solutions align with business needs and strategic goals
Maintain security toolsets supporting network operations
Collaborate with teams to develop Enterprise Security solutions
Provide technical expertise to various business units
Conduct security audits and evaluate system configurations
Suggest updates to existing policies for compliance and effectiveness
Utilize automation tools like Jenkins and Ansible for standards adherence
Qualifications
7-10 years in network security processes and solutions
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and cloud services
Extensive VPN expertise (site-to-site and remote access)
Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies
Strong grasp of network protocols and packet inspection methodologies
Proficient in scripting (especially Python) for automation
Experience with Cisco routing and switching in a large environment
