Description
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Region in Coolidge, Arizona; Phoenix, Arizona. The incumbent exercises delegated authority to carry out program functions and services that constitute the essential purpose of Irrigation and Utility projects in the Western Region. Qualifications:EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administrative and Management Positions for GS-0340-15: Program Manager).
GS-15 Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Managing, leading, and furnishing administrative support for Irrigation and/or Utility Project programs to further the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided; holding ultimate accountability for Federal and/or non-Federal funds, manpower, and property allocated to complex, multi-million dollar Irrigation and/or Utility Projects to accomplish their responsibilities; and coordinating program efforts by providing general supervision and guidance to subordinate branch managers of such projects.
All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
