Production Manager

Production Manager Location: Brookville, IN area Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 We are seeking a Production Manager for a growing manufacturing operation in the Brookville, Indiana area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, hands-on leader who is eager to make an impact on plant efficiency, production performance, safety, and quality. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering or manufacturing background who is ready to step into a high-visibility leadership position and help drive operational improvements. The right person will be smart, practical, energetic, and excited to roll up their sleeves to improve processes and support a production team. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support production team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and overall plant performance • Oversee execution of the production schedule and coordinate labor to meet operational demands • Develop, track, and report key production KPIs • Create, improve, and maintain operating procedures and best practices • Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to improve workflow and solve production issues • Train and develop production employees on process discipline, safety, and operational standards • Support recruiting, performance management, and team development efforts • Assist with troubleshooting quality concerns and improving manufacturing consistency • Contribute to capital projects and broader operational improvement initiatives Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred • 5+ years of manufacturing, production, quality, or operations experience • 5+ years of production supervision or leadership experience preferred • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Experience in a manufacturing environment that fabricates or produces engineered products is highly preferred • Proven ability to improve systems, drive accountability, and increase efficiency What We’re Looking For We are especially interested in candidates who are: • Hungry and eager to grow • Hands-on and willing to be visible on the plant floor • Strong technically, but also practical in execution • Excited by process improvement, efficiency, and team development • Looking for a role where they can make a meaningful operational impact
