A technical and commercial expert role for the USA and Canada About Us Hobré USA is a global leading provider specializing in process analyzers, integrated analyzer systems, and now expanding its market and product portfolio in cooperation with our strategic partner with smart solutions for automation, software engineering, and industrial digital transformation. To support our growth strategy in the USA market and develop the Canadian market, we are looking for an accomplished and dynamic Product Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives and accelerate expansion. Job Description As our Product Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing our local sales opportunities plan, overseeing and supporting key accounts technically and commercially, and help driving the growth of our presence primarily in the USA and additionally within the Canadian market. Your role will be crucial in fostering strong customer relationships and uncovering new business opportunities. This position will be responsible for supporting and extending the sales efforts for Transmitters, Safety Barriers, PLCs, DCS/UCS, and Safety Systems. You will be responsible for Improving the market position and market share in collaboration with the Sales Department, Taking initiative for development of the products and/or optimize regarding the various product-market combinations, Supporting Sales by visiting customers, Providing commercial and technical support directly to the customer during negotiations about offers and working out offers if necessary, Reviewing application and purchase specifications of the relevant products and systems, Translating (on a technical level) and transferring the wishes of the customer to engineering, Acting as the commercial and technical expert regarding our products, Develop and implement sales plans and strategies in cooperation with the Sales department to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, Maintain and develop a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer care and personal support, Identify and engage new sales opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize business potential, Analyze market trends, collect customer feedback, and monitor competitor actions to refine sales strategy, Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement impactful sales promotions and campaigns, Regularly report on sales performance and offer actionable insights to Management, Travel within the assigned region(s) as needed to engage with clients and participate in industry events and trade shows. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (equivalent) or higher in Business, Engineering, or related fields. At least 8 years of sales experience in industrial automation products, with a preference for experience in process control software or related industrial technologies. A proven history of success in sales management, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in English; French language skills are preferred. Familiarity with local business practices and regulations. Open to travel and flexible working hours as needed.
