Strategic Sourcing Manager - Electronics & Mechanical Categories Contract | Manufacturing | onsite-Atlanta, GA payrate:60-70/hr w2 About The Role We are partnering with a global manufacturing leader to find an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to own and drive procurement strategies across electronics and mechanical direct spend categories. This is a high-impact, senior-level role with visibility to executive leadership and cross-functional influence across Engineering, Finance, Product Management, and Operations. If you have deep experience sourcing electronic components and assemblies, managing supplier relationships at scale, and building multi-year savings pipelines — this role was built for you. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end category strategy for electronics and mechanical direct spend, including cost reduction, supplier performance, and supply chain risk mitigation Review electronic assembly BOMs, technical drawings, and engineering specs to drive strategic sourcing decisions Manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) containment and develop should-cost models to support P&L objectives Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and supplier negotiations for direct materials and manufactured assemblies Build and manage supplier relationships through Quarterly Business Reviews, KPI dashboards, and corrective action plans Develop and execute strategic agreements (MSA, NDA, JDA) alongside legal counsel Lead supplier rationalization and consolidation initiatives supporting manufacturing and field operations Partner with Engineering and Product teams on new product introductions and end-of-life strategies What You Bring 10+ years of strategic sourcing and category management experience in direct spend, with a focus on electronics and/or mechanical components Proven ability to manage complex supplier portfolios in volatile supply chain environments Strong command of TCO analysis, should costing, and data-driven supplier selection Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) and eSourcing platforms Track record of delivering year-over-year cost savings pipelines Experience in OEM, aerospace, oil & gas, elevator, or similar manufacturing industries Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business required; MBA preferred Certifications a plus: CPSM, CSCP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or PMP Why Apply High-visibility role with direct impact on P&L and organizational strategy Collaborative culture with cross-functional executive engagement Competitive compensation and benefits Growth opportunities within a global organization Advantage Technical is an equal opportunity employer.
