Director, Supplier and Manufacturer Quality

This role ensures that all externally manufactured products and supplied components meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and operational excellence throughout the supply chain.</span></p> <p>The Director will build strong partnerships with suppliers and contract manufacturers, establish robust quality systems, and lead a high-performing regional quality team to support new product introduction (NPI), sustaining production, and supplier development initiatives.</p> <h4>&nbsp;</h4> <h4><strong><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON</span></strong></h4> <h4><strong>[Strategic Leadership]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and execute the local supplier and contract manufacturer quality strategy aligned with business objectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Establish quality governance, metrics, and performance management systems across suppliers and CMs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive risk-based supplier segmentation and oversight models.</p> </li> <li> <p>Serve as the executive quality representative for Taiwan-based manufacturing operations.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[Supplier &amp; Contract Manufacturer Quality Oversight]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure supplier and CM compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance monitoring processes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee supplier audits (on-site and remote), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Establish and manage supplier scorecards and KPIs (PPM, OTD, cost of poor quality, audit findings, etc.).</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[New Product Introduction (NPI)]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure robust quality planning during NPI.</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive APQP/PPAP (or equivalent) processes at suppliers and contract manufacturers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure readiness for mass production and smooth product transfer into manufacturing.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[Issue Resolution &amp; Risk Management]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues.</p> </li> <li> <p>Implement structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p>Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Escalate critical supplier issues to executive leadership as needed.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[Team Leadership &amp; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">YOU BRING TO PELOTON</span></strong></h4> <h4><strong>[Education &amp; Experience]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).</p> </li> <li> <p>12+ years of progressive experience in quality leadership roles, including supplier and/or contract manufacturer quality management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience leading quality operations within Taiwan and broader Asia supply chains.</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated success managing global suppliers and complex manufacturing networks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in regulated industries preferred.</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[Technical Expertise]</strong></h4> <ul> <li> <p>Deep knowledge of quality management systems and international standards (ISO, IATF, GMP, etc.).</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong experience in supplier audits, qualification, and performance management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Expertise in structured problem-solving and statistical analysis tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with NPI quality processes (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.).</p> </li> </ul> <h4><strong>[Leadership &amp;
