Supply Chain Manager – New Facility Launch (Union, OH)

United Alloy is launching a state-of-the-art facility in Union, OH—and we’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to help build and lead the operation from the ground up.

The Role
The Supply Chain Manager leads all material flow operations across:
• Inventory & materials management
• Production planning
• Receiving & shipping
You will:
• Lead supervisors and teams across the full supply chain function
• Drive on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost efficiency
• Align plant execution with broader supply chain strategy
What You’ll Own
Operational Leadership
• Lead supervisors across materials, planning, inventory, and shipping
• Drive accountability, performance, and team development
Inventory & Planning
• Optimize inventory levels, turns, and accuracy
• Partner with production to support schedules and resolve shortages
Process Improvement
• Identify and implement improvements in workflows, systems, and planning
• Standardize processes to drive efficiency and consistency
Performance Metrics
Monitor and improve KPIs:
• On-Time Delivery
• Inventory Accuracy
• Stockouts / Material Flow
Cross-Functional Alignment
• Partner with operations, finance, and planning teams
• Ensure ERP data accuracy and reporting integrity
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
• 5–10 years of supply chain, materials, or inventory leadership in manufacturing (required)
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, production environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ERP (MRP) experience + advanced Excel skills
• Ability to influence across plant and corporate teams
