Role Description
The Property Accounting Manager is a full-time on-site role located in Silver Spring MD. The individual will oversee financial operations for managed properties by preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries, and managing budgets. The responsibilities also include handling financial reporting, supporting audits, managing accounting records, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while collaborating with property management teams to provide financial insights.
Qualifications
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, including experience with Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries and other core accounting tasks
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with property management teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus
• Experience in real estate or property management accounting is HIGHLY preferred.
