Responsibilities - Perform professional hair coloring services, including highlights, balayage, color corrections, and creative color techniques, ensuring optimal results tailored to each client’s style. - Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, assess hair health, and recommend suitable color treatments and maintenance plans. - Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools, stations, and adhering to salon safety protocols. - Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently. - Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products like hair care, extensions, makeup, nail care items, and eyelash extensions. - Mentor junior team members on color theory, application techniques, and industry best practices to foster continuous learning and professional growth. - Stay current on the latest trends in hair coloring, styling, and beauty treatments to provide innovative services that keep clients coming back. Qualifications - Valid cosmetology license with specialization in hair coloring; barbering or cosmetology certification required. - Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair coloring techniques and hair care products. - Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and advanced styling. - Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude.
