Senior Director of Operations

Role Description The Senior Director of Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for building and overseeing core operational functions at BitStack Systems. This role will design and optimize operational processes, define metrics, and establish best practices that support scalable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional workflows, coordinating with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, and ensuring consistent delivery against business goals. The Senior Director of Operations will own budgeting and resource planning, monitor operational performance, and implement data-driven improvements. This role will also lead and develop a high-performing operations team, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and contribute to strategic planning with the founding team. Qualifications Strong Operations Management experience, including building and optimizing processes, defining KPIs, and driving operational excellence. Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, create dashboards, and make evidence-based decisions. Proven Team Management capabilities, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and leading cross-functional initiatives. Hands-on experience with Budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth. Background in Customer Service operations, with a focus on customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and service quality. Experience in high-growth or startup environments, preferably in technology or SaaS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Comfort working in a fully remote, distributed environment and across time zones.
