Description
The Financial Analyst Senior responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data as well as preparing reports, models, presentations and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders. Working under minimal supervision, this job collaborates regularly with project managers, operational leaders, and finance teams, supports complex projects, and delivers results that have a significant impact on operational achievement.
Essential Job Function
• Confirms the correctness of financial statements, interprets financial findings for various branches, and offers advice to finance heads of divisions to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Creates novel solutions to fulfill the demands of customers and departments.
• Gives advice on how to increase net profit or capitalize on cost efficiencies.
• Formulates operational protocols, drafts criteria, organizes documentation, monitors records, and harmonizes all computations and information with the main accounting book and supplementary financial files in a prompt fashion.
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in financial technology systems and acts as a go-to person for clarifying reports generated from these systems.
• Engages in automated operations to boost efficiency and eradicate unnecessary tasks.
• Assists in advancing the improvement procedure through the formulation of structured layouts, timelines, assessments, and proposals that enable leaders to make choices aligning with organizational targets.
• Delivers educational sessions to end users regarding financial software and fundamental financial ideas through interactive group training.
• Undertakes any other responsibilities as delegated.
Education
• Required: Bachelor's Degree
Experience
• Required: 5+ Years
Licensure/Certification/Listing
• Required: Department/role specific certification may be required. Required certification programs may include HFMA CHFP, CPA, or other certification programs defined by the department leader
