Chief of Staff / Head of People

The Job As the Chief of Staff / Head of People you will take on a varied job that encompasses operations, strategic projects and people, working directly alongside the founders to scale the company internally. You will touch nearly every part of the business, balancing highly strategic initiatives with crucial daily operational and administrative tasks. As the Chief of staff you will fill the gaps between the founders of this business, taking on various strategic programs, acting as a sounding board and an advisor to the board. You will design and implement scalable internal systems to support leadership with strategic initiatives.. As the People lead you will initially be responsible for driving their recruitment effort; • Building the recruitment process, Leading recruitment coordination, hiring operations, interview scheduling, and candidate management. • Owning payroll, onboarding, compliance, internal team workflows, and people operations. • Oversee office management, in-person team coordination, vendor management, and operational logistics. About You You are an exceptionally organized, resourceful operator who takes extreme ownership of problems and moves quickly without waiting for direction. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments where priorities constantly evolve and no two days look the same. You possess strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills to work effectively across candidates, employees, founders, vendors, and partners. While capability, adaptability, intelligence, and execution matter far more than a perfectly matching traditional background, ideal candidates will bring skills and experience from backgrounds such as startup operations, Chief of Staff roles, consulting, banking, founder/operator experience, or people/recruiting operations. With a lean, elite team, the business has already crossed significant revenue milestones, is growing rapidly month-over-month, moving from 300 to over 800 clients in the last 5 months, you will have seen their work.
