Billing/ Operations Manager

The Billing Manager supervises financial aspects of the medical practice, to include accounts payable/ receivable; manages billing staff; maintains competitive pricing; negotiates contracts; and builds payor relationships. The Manager works closely with the Physician President and accounting firm to recognize/ pursue opportunities for cost savings and increased revenue. Candidates should have a solid understanding of claims processing and billing. Experience in trouble-shooting insurance billing issues and implementing the appropriate internal work flows. Track and report financials on a regular basis. We prefer a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and MS Office is essential. This is a leadership role within the practice, so experience in managing, motivating and leading a team is also a requirement.
