We're proud to be the largest Mexican-inspired quick service brand globally, known for our commitment to quality ingredients, innovative restaurant technology, and bold brand expression. ## The Role As Marketing Director for Taco Bell Latin America & the Caribbean (LA&C), you'll be responsible for building both the brand and the system that enables it to scale across the region. This isn't just about strategy—it's about creating the conditions for great marketing to happen consistently. You'll develop capable teams, embed clear operating models, and inspire bold brand building that drives real demand. This position sits on the LA&C Leadership Team, reporting to the LA&C General Manager and working closely with the International CMO and other International Marketing Leaders. You'll be expected to operate as an enterprise leader who can think strategically while executing with discipline. ## What You'll Do Your day-to-day will focus on three interconnected priorities. First, you'll build a distinctive, culturally relevant brand across LA&C by setting a clear vision for how Taco Bell shows up in each market—pushing for work that breaks through, not blends in. You'll design and embed a scalable marketing operating system across the region, including briefing, planning, execution, and measurement, so markets can consistently deliver high-quality work. You'll shift the organization from reactive marketing to proactive planning, ensuring clarity in priorities, calendar, and resource allocation across all markets. Developing and coaching marketing leaders across LA&C and franchisee organizations will be critical—building capability, confidence, and independence over time. Strong alignment between marketing, operations, finance, and digital will be essential, ensuring marketing decisions are grounded in commercial impact and operational reality. Leading the Regional Marketing Fund (RMF) with discipline means ensuring investments are focused, measurable, and tied to business outcomes. You'll drive performance through marketing with a clear link to transactions, mix, and profitability—not just activity or brand metrics. Building and scaling integrated ways of working across agencies and partners, including the implementation of an Integrated Agency Team (IAT) model in each market, will strengthen your region's capabilities. Throughout, you'll operate as a system leader, identifying root causes and building long-term solutions rather than applying quick fixes. ## What We're Looking For You'll bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in QSR/restaurant, CPG, marketing/advertising agency, or multi-channel retail. A BA/BS is required; an MBA is preferred. International and/or franchised business experience is highly recommended, and experience in Latin America is a plus. You're an impactful and articulate communicator with the ability to conduct business—read, write, and present—in fluent English. Familiarity with Latin American culture is preferred, as is fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Your track record demonstrates building enduring, high-impact brands that move beyond campaign execution. You've proven the ability to connect brand decisions to transactions, product mix, and margin performance. You have real experience designing scalable marketing systems and operating models that don't depend on individual effort—systems that enable teams to work independently and consistently. As a strong people leader, you've built high-performing, self-sufficient teams and have a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, franchisees, and cross-functional partners through credibility and consistency. You combine strategic brand vision with disciplined, operational execution. ## Work Arrangement & Location This role requires travel of up to 25%. You must be located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Plano, TX, or Irvine, CA. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite expectations Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, plus a year-round flex day on Friday. ## Compensation & Benefits The salary range is $180,000 to $210,000 annually, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Your actual pay will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
