YouTube Shooter/Editor/Content Producer

We are looking for a highly creative, driven YouTube-first content creator to help us build one of the most respected professional salon-focused hair care brands in the country. This is NOT a typical corporate social media job. We are not trying to become another generic beauty brand posting random Instagram content. We are building a salon-first professional hair care brand centered around: • stylist authority • salon exclusivity • professional education • helping serious stylists grow more profitable buisnesses We already have: • real products • real salon relationships • real distribution • real customers • a growing team Now we are just looking for the right creative partner to help us tell the story correctly online. What you will actually be doing You will help us create: • YouTube shorts • YouTube videos • Instagram Reels • Educational Salon Content • Stylist spotlight videos • Founder/story driven videos • behind the scene brand content You will: • shoot content • edit videos • package videos for YouTube • create thumbnails • organize content calendars • help structure shoots • help turn ideas into compelling content people actually watch This role is not just posting on social media, it is about helping build attention, authority, trust, and brand momentum. The type of person we are looking for... We care far more about talent, creativity, hunger, and instinct than corporate resumes. You may be: • a hungry YouTube creator • a shooter/editor • a content producer • a creative entrepreneur • someone building content on your own But you MUST understand: • pacing • hooks • audience attention • storytelling • how to make educational content engaging Most importantly you must understand "GOOD" YouTube content is very different from basic corporate marketing videos. You might be a great fit if... • you are obsessed with YouTube • you study creators and content trends • you naturally think in titles, hooks, thumbnails, and audience psychology • you understand short-form and long-form content • you know how to keep videos moving and engaging • you are organized and proactive • you can work independently • you are comfortable giving creative input • you like building things from the ground floor • you want to help create something meaningful long term Bonus points if you have experience with: • YouTube growth • podcast editing • beauty/salon content • educational content • documentary-style editing • Adobe Premiere • Final Cut Pro • DaVinci Resolve • Photoshop/ thumbnail design • motion graphics • lighting/audio setup • social media content packaging Compensation This role will begin part-time/hourly. Compensation will depend on: • experience • portfolio quality • creative ability • YouTube understanding • production skill There is strong long-term upside for the right person as the brand grows.
