Senior Cloud Security Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $156,400 – $234,600 annually Responsibilities Design and implement cloud security controls to enhance risk management Secure multi-cloud and hybrid environments across major platforms Implement protective measures for AI/ML workloads and mitigate AI-specific risks Apply DevSecOps practices to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with product and platform teams to ensure secure architecture deployments Utilize CNAPP tools for risk identification across cloud environments Develop automation solutions to enhance security operations Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; 5-8+ years of relevant experience Experience in designing and securing cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, On-Premise) Proficiency in programming or scripting languages and experience with cloud APIs Strong knowledge of cloud security fundamentals including IAM, encryption, and secure architecture design Experience with DevSecOps practices and securing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Matching 401(k) program and paid time off Wellness program promoting employee health Employee discounts for Sony products Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
