Summary
A growing financial technology firm is investing heavily in modern data and AI capabilities to support an expanding platform. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with 3-4 years of experience in fintech or financial software who enjoys building data-driven products that blend financial analytics with intuitive user experiences. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with strong performers considered for permanent roles.
You will work on a portfolio analytics platform that enables users to construct and analyse investment portfolios using risk metrics such as beta, correlation, diversification, and drawdown. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals alongside a practical understanding of how portfolio analytics are applied in real-world financial products.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack functionality for a financial portfolio analytics platform
• Develop and support backend services and APIs that power portfolio modelling and analytics
• Build modern front-end interfaces for portfolio construction, analytics visualisation, and workflow tools
• Integrate market data, fund data, and quantitative models into application workflows
• Optimise performance for large-scale portfolio simulations and analytical computations
• Partner with product managers and investment stakeholders to translate financial concepts into scalable software solutions
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to the ongoing evolution of system architecture
Qualifications
Required
• 3-4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer within fintech or financial services
• Experience building and supporting backend APIs and data-driven applications
• Strong front-end development experience building modern, user-facing interfaces
• Exposure to financial data, analytics, or portfolio-related systems
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
Preferred
• Experience with portfolio analytics, trading systems, or wealth management platforms
• Familiarity with quantitative finance or portfolio construction concepts
• Experience building data visualisation or analytics-heavy applications
• Background developing tools used by financial advisors, investment teams, or asset managers
