AWS Solutions/ Cloud Architect Fresno, TX Fulltime Opportunity Role Summary The architect will be responsible for defining AWS cloud architecture, governance, and enterprise guardrails, ensuring alignment with AWS best practices and client standards. This role will lead the design of highly available container platforms across public cloud environments. Experienced AWS Kubernetes Architect to design, build, and manage scalable containerized platforms. Key Responsibilities Define multi-account strategy, environment separation, and shared services model Design IAM architecture including roles, permission boundaries, and AWS Identity Center integration Create and maintain AWS reference architectures and golden paths (EC2, ECS, EKS, Serverless) Architect and implement enterprise-grade Kubernetes clusters. Design and maintain containerized infrastructure using Docker. Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible. Design CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Argo CD. Implement service mesh technologies like Istio. Define policy-as-code intent in collaboration with DevOps teams Provide architectural guidance for DR, resilience, RTO/RPO, and SRE fundamentals Review designs and provide architectural oversight for AWS workloads Required Skills & Qualifications - Experience with enterprise cloud governance and compliance models - Hands-on experience designing large-scale AWS architectures - Strong understanding of security, networking, resilience, and cost optimization - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Experience - 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure or cloud experience - 8+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture and administration. Certifications (Preferred) - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional - AWS Certified Security – Specialty
