Your Role

You will spearhead hardware testing at Orbem. Working side-by-side with MRI, Mechatronics, Compliance, and Software Engineers in Test, you will design rigorous test protocols and execute hands-on validation of every mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic component that ships with our automation and industrialised AI-powered MRI products.

Your day-to-day

  • Define, conduct and document hardware test strategies, protocols and quality gates for our automation systems and industrialized imaging unit.

  • Define and create the right environment for in-house testing of sub-systems and components.

  • Collaborate closely with the product development team, supply chain, field engineers and Software integration.

  • Establish and own our QMS framework and testing process.

  • Define and conduct testing strategies and protocols to assess our suppliers, visit manufacturing units and perform FATs.

Your responsibilities include:

Defining a long-term testing and quality strategy for our complex systems and building the required team and resources around this.

Your Experience and Skills

  • You have 5 + years experience in hardware, reliability, mechatronics or system-integration testing and have led a testing team in the past.

  • You have established and enforced quality and testing frameworks for complex systems using top-notch tools.

  • You are hands-on with automation systems, sensors, actuators, oscilloscopes or PLCs.

  • You have proven ability to set objective pass/fail criteria, perform root-cause analysis and request design improvements.

  • You are experienced in writing clear test plans for electro-mechanical interfaces.

Fit to our values

  • We own every challenge: we enjoy complexity and thrive under uncertainty.

  • We strive for better: we seize any opportunity for growth and challenge the status quo. We are constantly learning and improving.

  • We imagine new frontiers: we think beyond “doable” and “reasonable”. We design a sustainable and healthy future together.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You have a strong background in the food automation industry or worked with medical devices.

  • You turn fuzzy “should work” ideas into measurable metrics and back them with repeatable test frameworks

  • You are proactive, curious and passionate about sustainable, high-impact technology.
