Inventory & Order Management Analyst
Location: Greater Philadelphia Area (Hybrid)
Reports to: Order & Inventory Management Lead
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage the end‑to‑end order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy of electronic order data from purchase order creation through delivery and payment
• Respond to client inquiries related to purchase orders, inventory availability, invoicing, and shipment status
• Allocate inventory as needed to support demand fluctuations and customer requirements
• Support clients with operational questions related to warehouse partners and logistics systems
• Assist clients in understanding and utilizing warehouse‑generated and internally generated operational reports
• Partner with transportation and warehouse teams to support on‑time delivery performance
• Collaborate with transportation partners to identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency and reduce costs
• Work with customers and internal sales teams to adjust lead times and manage warehouse workflow and order volume
• Support planning and coordination around seasonal demand and peak periods
• Closely monitor new item launches, promotional displays, and planogram orders to ensure timely and complete fulfillment
• Address questions related to end‑of‑month and end‑of‑quarter shipments
Reporting & Analytics Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the inventory and order management team to create, maintain, and manage:
• Non‑invoiced order tracking
• Short shipment reporting
• Inventory hold requests
• Purchase order extension requests
• Limited lead‑time communications
• Analyze portal and system data to develop reporting and performance metrics, including:
• Client‑facing reports
• Customer‑facing reports
• Transportation performance reports
• Warehouse operations reporting
Additional Responsibilities
• Support cross‑functional initiatives spanning multiple operational areas
• Build strong working relationships with internal sales and account teams
Capability Requirements – Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proven ability to balance client needs with broader business objectives
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including clients, customers, and internal teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Supply chain or logistics background preferred
• Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience preferred
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience preferred
