Medical Director-Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Southwestern Vermont Medical Center Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as a Medical Director of a new adolescent inpatient psychiatry program at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, located in Bennington, VT. This role will include dedicated time for administrative responsibilities as well as direct clinical care on the unit. Clinically, you will provide state-of-the-art acute psychiatric and substance related disorder care for adolescents aged 12-17. The inpatient unit will include an experienced team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a clinical service in psychiatry and be a skilled clinician with strong interest in working in an inpatient setting. Candidates should be board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. Opportunities to teach in didactic or other supervisory settings in the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship or psychiatry residency at Dartmouth are available. Academic rank at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and salary will be commensurate with experience.
