We're looking for a Working Student to support our Privacy Engineering & Compliance Automation initiatives. You'll work across technology, compliance, and AI governance, helping build scalable processes that ensure regulatory requirements are embedded into our systems and products.
Your roadmap to make an impact
Map and document data flows across internal systems, APIs, and third-party service providers
Configure and maintain compliance workflows, automation pipelines, and audit documentation
Support the implementation and monitoring of Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes
Assist with technical reviews of vendor integrations, data transfer mechanisms, and security controls
Inventory and classify AI/ML systems based on regulatory risk requirements and support the preparation of technical documentation
Conduct technical assessments as part of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), including reviews of access controls, data minimization practices, and logging mechanisms
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into products and processes
Monitor regulatory developments and help translate new requirements into actionable technical tasks
Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes, documentation standards, and governance practices
Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Law, or a related field
A good understanding of how data moves through modern systems, including APIs, databases, and cloud environments
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Comfortable working independently, structuring ambiguous problems, and following through
Genuine interest in data privacy, AI governance, cybersecurity, or digital compliance
Nice to Have
Exposure to GDPR, EU AI Act, NIS2, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory frameworks
Experience with compliance, workflow, or documentation tools
Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or scripting
Familiarity with AI/ML systems and their governance requirements
Fluent in English; German is a plus
