Program Manager, Climate Sustainability

Managing a portfolio of grants focused on local climate action, the full-time salaried Program Manager, Climate Sustainability will oversee the Local IMPACT Accelerator grant program, ensuring compliance and supporting local governments in emissions reduction efforts across various sectors while working in a hybrid environment. Key responsibilities: Oversee active grants, including contract negotiation, project deliverables, and compliance with federal and state requirements Provide support to local governments on sustainability initiatives in buildings, land use, transportation, and waste management Facilitate collaboration across teams and agencies to enhance program effectiveness and identify process improvements Required qualifications: Three years of professional experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience Experience in grant management, compliance, and reporting Background in sustainability with an understanding of greenhouse gas emissions reductions Experience developing scopes of work and managing contracts Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
