Certified Top Employer 2026, Saint-Gobain Glass Italy - Corporate is looking for a: SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL - ITALY & GREECE to act as a key legal advisor to Country Management Teams and business leaders in Italy and Greece by supporting commercial, industrial and corporate initiatives, providing pragmatic and business‑oriented legal advice and participating in strategic projects, transformations, restructurings and integration processes. Key Responsibilities Corporate, Commercial & Contractual Law Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (sales, procurement, distribution, services, agency, framework agreements) Provide guidance on competition law, antitrust and unfair commercial practices Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations and Saint‑Gobain Group policies Implement and monitor data privacy and cyber-security compliance programs Implement and over-view the insurance program Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies in collaboration with management Litigation & Dispute Management Manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters in Italy and Greece, coordinating external counsel when required Oversee claims, disputes and settlements, ensuring effective cost and risk control M&A and Corporate Projects Support mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, including due diligence, transaction documentation and post‑integration activities Coordinate with Group Legal and other functions (Finance, Tax, HR) on cross‑border transactions Data Protection & Cyber-security Act as legal reference point for data protection and privacy matters in Italy and Greece, in line with GDPR and local regulations Provide legal advice on the processing of personal data in commercial, HR, marketing, digital and industrial contexts Support the implementation and monitoring of Saint‑Gobain Group data protection and cyber-security policies and procedures Review and negotiate data processing agreements, data transfer agreements and privacy clauses in commercial contracts Coordinate with IT, HR, Compliance and business teams on data protection by design and by default initiatives Manage interactions with external stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers) and, when required, with Data Protection Authorities Support the management of data breaches, risk assessments (DPIAs) and remediation actions in coordination with the Group External Counsel & Stakeholder Management Manage external law firms, ensuring quality and cost efficiency Act as a point of contact for regulators, authorities and external stakeholders when required What we’re looking for: Experience & Qualifications Law degree and qualification as a lawyer 8–12+ years of legal experience within a multinational company and/or top‑tier law firm Strong expertise in commercial and corporate law; experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred Experience supporting multiple legal entities and countries Solid experience in data privacy is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong business acumen and ability to translate legal advice into practical solutions; Excellent negotiation and drafting skills; Ability to operate in a complex, matrix and international organization; High level of autonomy, integrity and sound judgment; Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken); Knowledge of French is a plus Additional details: Permanent contract The position is open to candidates of all genders in accordance with Law 903/77.
