About The Role
We are seeking a highly talented and strategic Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on retail and brand experiences within the beverage industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft visually engaging designs that enhance product visibility and consumer engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing trend-forward creative concepts, producing impactful Point of Purchase displays, and supporting the development of comprehensive brand presentations. While primarily remote, the role requires occasional on-site collaboration in Chicago, IL, to facilitate project meetings and client presentations. This position is perfect for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values innovation, and is eager to contribute to high-profile beverage campaigns that leave a lasting impression.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within retail, branding, or packaging sectors
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
Experience creating trend boards and mood visuals
Ability to develop compelling presentations and client-ready decks
Knowledge of production processes and vendor specifications for merchandise and display environments
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and version control
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
Passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends
Responsibilities
Research and create trend boards that highlight emerging design trends relevant to the beverage industry
Develop innovative and compelling creative concepts aligned with BDA’s brand promises and strategic objectives
Design and produce product presentations, Point of Purchase (POP) displays, and in-store visual assets to enhance retail environments
Craft detailed product and concept decks that effectively communicate ideas to clients
Ensure all designs are adaptable across merchandise types and meet vendor specifications
Maintain organized digital files with consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and version control
Present design concepts confidently to clients, clearly articulating ideas and incorporating feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and visual consistency
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design practices to continuously elevate creative output
