This team sits at the center of company-wide resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term financial planning. You'll partner directly with multiple C-level executives and their leadership teams to shape how Coinbase deploys capital and scales its operations, while leading and developing a team of finance professionals.</p> </div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>What you'll do:</div> <ul> <li>Own the financial health of multiple major functional areas, serving as the primary finance partner to 3+ C-level executives and their leadership teams on resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term planning.</li> <li>Drive the vision for how Finance partners with the business by identifying and implementing new analytical frameworks, efficiency opportunities, and operational improvements.</li> <li>Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear performance expectations and building a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance leadership to align on budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and strategic priorities.</li> <li>Shape company-wide investment decisions by building financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that inform executive decision-making.</li> <li>Execute regular financial reporting and variance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the CFO's office.</li> </ul> <div><br><br>Required Skills and Experience:</div> <ul> <li>8+ years in FP&amp;A, strategic finance, or a combination of these roles (investment banking experience counts), with a significant portion spent in leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.</li> <li>At least 2 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionals.</li> <li>Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to C-level executives, with specific examples of influencing company-level strategy, resource allocation, or investment decisions.</li> <li>Proven ability to build, maintain, and present complex financial models that drive executive decision-making across multiple functional areas.</li> <li>Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.</li> </ul> <div id="fortidlp-input-element-parent"></div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Pay Transparency Notice:</strong><strong><em> </em></strong>Base salary varies by location (see range below).
