Responsibilities • Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair • Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and utilize color theory to create customized looks that meet clients’ desires • Conduct traditional barbering services such as straight razor shaves and beard trims with professionalism • Manage salon operations using salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client records, and retail sales tracking • Provide expert consultations on hair care, styling techniques, and product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction • Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and adhering to health regulations • Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and upselling retail products like nail care or makeup items • Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and uphold high service standards Experience • Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styling skills • Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for efficient appointment management • Expertise in hair coloring techniques, including application of various products based on color theory principles • Skilled in hair extensions application, hair threading, makeup application, and nail care services is a plus • Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math to increase store revenue • Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and understand their desired outcomes • Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or advanced styling are advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your talent makes a difference!
