Full-Stack Engineer (TS/SCI w/ CI Poly) with Security Clearance

OAB Ventures is hiring Software Engineers at the mid and senior levels to support enterprise AI platform development at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. This is hands-on work building software that directly supports warfighter capabilities and mission success. If you want to write code that matters, this is the program. Senior candidates will lead software development initiatives across the platform, providing architectural guidance and technical direction to the broader team. That includes designing complex systems, driving technology decisions, establishing coding standards, mentoring junior developers, and leading code reviews. You will own technical documentation, system specifications, and performance optimization efforts while collaborating across cross-functional teams on integration and scalability. Mid-level candidates will develop and maintain software applications and services supporting AI/ML operations, with a focus on scalable backend systems, APIs, and user-facing interfaces. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, implement automated testing and CI/CD practices, collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers, and contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation. Production troubleshooting and maintaining high code quality are part of the day-to-day. Senior candidates should bring 10 or more years of software development experience with leadership responsibilities, expertise across multiple programming languages and technology stacks, and a strong command of software architecture patterns, system design, cloud-native development, and containerization. A proven record of leading technical teams is expected. Mid-level candidates should bring 5 or more years of software development experience with proficiency in modern languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go. Experience with web frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps tooling is expected, along with a working understanding of AI/ML concepts and integration patterns. For both levels, AWS experience is highly preferred but not required. Military experience is strongly preferred.
