Description

Location: Winston-Salem, NC, 27101 Position Overview The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in production and purchasing activities. Supporting day-to-day supply chain operations by coordinating purchases, receipts, managing production, monitoring material availability, and supporting order fulfillment. This position helps ensure materials, production priorities, demand and delivery commitments remain aligned across internal teams and external suppliers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before they disrupt production or delivery schedules. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across multiple functions, and takes ownership of keeping operational workflows moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Materials Coordination • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential material shortages before they impact production schedules • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages and minimize operational disruptions • Track incoming materials and ensure accurate receiving and system updates Production Coordination • Responsible for the receiving, production and fulfillment of orders • Ensure purchase orders and work orders are accurate, complete, and aligned with scheduling requirements • Coordinate with production teams regarding material timelines and availability • Support production reporting and maintain accurate system data related to production activity Purchasing Support • Enter and maintain purchase orders within the ERP/system accurately and timely • Track supplier delivery dates and proactively follow up on late or incomplete orders • Support supplier communication to help ensure timely and accurate deliveries • Maintain purchasing documentation and system records • Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy, workflow efficiency, and operational execution Qualifications • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, materials coordination, or related role • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite preferred) to manage purchasing, inventory, work orders, or material planning activities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment • Ability to proactively identify issues and coordinate timely resolution across teams Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting production, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing, distribution, or project-based environment • Familiarity with continuous improvement, process optimization, or lean operational practices • Experience coordinating with vendors, suppliers, or external operational partners • NetSuite experience Key Competencies • Proactive problem-solving • Time management and prioritization • Data accuracy and accountability • Collaboration and communication Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law. ```
