About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Senior/Staff Front-End Developer to join our client’s dynamic team remotely, preferably based in the US or Europe. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of a new high-performance, web-based trading terminal designed to enhance user experience and replicate the platform's hallmark speed and efficiency on the web. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating complex trading functionalities into a seamless, responsive, and real-time web application. Collaborating closely with backend developers and product teams, you will ensure the delivery of a robust, scalable, and innovative trading interface that meets the high standards of the industry and our client’s users. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React/NextJS and TypeScript. Proven experience building frontend components for trading platforms or financial exchanges. Previous experience in leading or contributing significantly to critical platform components and decision-making processes. Ability to work independently, proactively managing tasks and driving projects forward. Expertise in creating fast, dynamic, and optimized web interfaces. Strong understanding of real-time data handling and WebSocket management. Innovative mindset with the ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions quickly. Genuine interest and understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and trading trends. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a responsive, user-centric web application utilizing React/NextJS and TypeScript. Implement best practices for performance optimization to ensure the application remains fast and responsive across devices, especially on mobile. Support the integration and management of real-time data streams via WebSockets to enhance trading functionalities and user interactions. Collaborate closely with the Senior Full-Stack Developer to ensure seamless front-end and back-end integration. Address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions that significantly improve user experience and platform stability. Champion code quality by delivering clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, fostering a sustainable development environment. Participate in technical decision-making, including selecting appropriate tech stacks and design patterns. Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in DeFi and trading technology, to continually improve the platform.
