Telecom Sourcing & Operations Manager

Role Summary We are looking for a seasoned Telecom Sourcing & Operations Manager to support enterprise telecommunications services across the EMEA region. This position will focus on supplier governance, commercial management, telecom financial oversight, and operational coordination to ensure reliable connectivity services and effective vendor performance across multiple markets. Primary Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for telecommunications suppliers operating across EMEA countries. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with telecom providers to ensure consistent service delivery and issue resolution. Manage end-to-end telecom procurement and commercial activities, including contract reviews, pricing evaluations, renewals, and service amendments. Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and operational KPIs. Lead resolution efforts for billing disputes, invoice discrepancies, and payment-related concerns in collaboration with finance and procurement teams. Analyze telecom spend, usage patterns, and vendor performance to identify savings opportunities and operational efficiencies. Coordinate with internal technology teams, service providers, and external partners to support ongoing telecom operations. Ensure compliance with regional telecommunications regulations, local business requirements, and internal governance standards. Produce regular reporting on telecom costs, service quality, vendor risks, and optimization initiatives. Support telecom transformation programs, network service enhancements, and vendor consolidation efforts where applicable. Required Experience 8+ years of experience in telecommunications operations, vendor management, sourcing, procurement, or service delivery. Proven experience managing telecom service providers across multiple countries or regions. Strong understanding of carrier services, telecom contracts, commercial negotiations, and supplier governance. Experience handling telecom billing, financial controls, and invoice validation processes. Ability to manage escalations, operational risks, and service continuity challenges. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive cost and performance improvements. Desired Qualifications Experience supporting large multinational organizations with complex telecom environments. Knowledge of telecom expense management (TEM) practices and cost-control frameworks. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the EMEA telecommunications landscape. Experience working with managed service providers and cross-functional global teams.
